Getting Started

• Open Settings in the app (tap the screen, then the controls bar).
• Under Photos, choose a source: All Photos, an Album, or a Date Range.
• Pick your albums, set the slideshow interval, and you’re set — the frame starts automatically.
• Grant Photos and HomeKit access when prompted to enable all features.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I see “No Photos Selected”?

Choose a photo source in Settings. If you picked Album, make sure at least one album is selected. If you granted only limited photo access, add more photos in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos.

Does it play videos too?

Yes. Videos in your selected album or library play full-screen with sound, then the slideshow advances to the next item automatically.

How do the camera feeds and device controls work?

With HomeKit access granted, tap the controls bar to open Camera Feeds or Home Devices. While viewing a camera, the controls for that camera’s room appear along the bottom (lights, locks, switches, garage doors, fans). Choose which devices and cameras appear in Settings › HomeKit › Devices.

What is Motion Tracking?

When enabled, a motion sensor or doorbell can automatically switch the frame to the relevant camera, then return to your photos after the interval you set (“Back to Frame After”). It only interrupts the photo frame — never while you’re on another screen.

How does Night-time Mode work?

Set a start and end time and the screen dims during those hours, showing a soft red clock that’s easy on the eyes. It only dims the photo-frame screen.

Can I show the frame on my TV with AirPlay?

The AirPlay button streams photo and video playback to an Apple TV or AirPlay display. To mirror the entire frame, open Control Center and tap Screen Mirroring — this is an iOS feature that shows the whole app on your TV.

A camera feed keeps showing “Connecting…”.

Make sure the camera is reachable in the Apple Home app and that your iPad and the camera are on the same network. HomeKit cameras can take a few seconds to start, and some require a Home hub (Apple TV or HomePod) to stream.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your photos, videos, and HomeKit data stay on your device. There are no accounts, ads, or tracking. See our Privacy Policy for details.

The app keeps my iPad awake — is that normal?

Yes. As a photo frame, the app keeps the display on while it’s in the foreground. To sleep the device, leave the app or lock the iPad.
